What does a caramel macchiato taste like?

ok so macchiato means marked foam,I cant say how they taste anywhere else but i work at starbucks and we build it vanilla in the bottom of the cup then milk, foam ,the shot of espresso and then carmel drizzle on the top.Now the hot one taste like warm milk with with some strong coffee, but the iced carmel macchito is pretty good just make sure you get a little extra vanilla and carmel.If its to strong try the upside down caramel macchiato its all mixed together it taste great
