Why do Cons lie that fascism is left wing?

The left has transformed from a libertarian ideology to a totalitarian ideology. Giving government power over the individual is authoritarian. Communism, Fascism and Nazism are all forms of totalitarianism. The left favors government dictating how the individual runs his life, in some respects so does the right, but the right is much more in favor of individual liberty.
